Principal Security Engineer, Operations

Principal Security Engineer will be the technical authority for corporate security engineering, defining long-term security architecture and safeguarding people, systems, and data. Build security into the fabric of the company across identity, endpoints, networks, and cloud platforms to enable rapid, confident operations of high-powered satellites. Lead design and implementation of zero trust principles, establish enterprise security standards and reference architectures, mentor senior engineers, and collaborate with IT/network/infrastructure teams. Drive risk assessments, threat modeling, and trade-off analyses tied to business impact, evaluate security technologies, govern vendors, and ensure compliance with regulatory and contractual security requirements. Architect security automation and detection capabilities to improve visibility and response times, and represent security in architecture reviews, audits, and technology planning forums.
