Job Summary
Define and lead security architecture across cloud, datacenter, and SaaS platforms while establishing standards and patterns aligned to enterprise operating models. Own the standardization and strategic selection of core security platforms for identity, secrets management, and network security, driving adoption of zero trust principles and modern frameworks. Lead complex initiatives spanning product, infrastructure, and operations teams, serving as the escalation point for critical incidents and root cause analysis. Partner with compliance and risk teams to ensure adherence to regulatory requirements in healthcare and financial services environments. Mentor engineering teams and influence technical direction across the organization.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years in security engineering and/or architecture roles
- Deep expertise across multiple security domains (IAM, network security, cloud security, data protection)
- Strong experience designing security architectures in hybrid and multi-cloud environments
- Hands-on experience with modern identity platforms (e.g., Microsoft Entra ID, Okta) and leading their enterprise standardization
- Experience with secrets management and infrastructure security tooling (e.g., HashiCorp Vault, Terraform), including defining enterprise patterns
- Strong knowledge of network and perimeter security solutions (e.g., Palo Alto firewalls, cloud-native security controls) and driving standard configurations
- Proven leadership in large-scale, enterprise-wide security initiatives, including toolchain rationalization and standardization
- Excellent stakeholder communication skills with the ability to engage at executive levels
