Job Summary
Lead as the packaging lead across multiple cross-functional projects and product categories within Kraft Heinz AFH, focusing on solutions that meet customer requirements and enable packaging development from concept through commercialization. Own and drive packaging testing, qualification, and commercialization in collaboration with lab and production environments; translate research findings into actionable business implications and manufacturability considerations; apply scientific principles to new products and formats, with emphasis on cost-optimized, manufacturable packaging solutions for foodservice formats; manage multiple assignments concurrently, create and maintain precise specifications, and coach a team to deliver practical, fast-paced, test-and-learn results that support key customer partnerships and portfolio growth.
Required Qualifications
- BS or MS in Packaging, Chemical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Bachelor’s degree plus a minimum of 6 years of relevant experience, or master’s degree plus a minimum of 5 years of relevant experience, or PhD plus a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
- Proven experience in packaging development and commercialization
- Strong knowledge of packaging materials, equipment and material interactions, and packaging laboratory test methods
- Excellent communication, influencing, and critical thinking skills
- Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and motivate others
- Willingness to travel up to 30%
