Job Summary
The Principal Scientist I position entails leading and optimizing the development and application of immunoanalytical methods for pharmacokinetic and pharmacodynamic studies. The role requires full proficiency in standard and non-standard study designs, execution, analysis, and client communications. Responsibilities include developing new technologies and processes, mentoring junior staff, and managing resource allocation. Candidates must possess deep technical knowledge in immunoanalytical assays, experience with ligand binding assays, and strong communication skills.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in chemistry, biochemistry, pharmaceutical sciences, or another related scientific field
- 8 years of directly related industry experience (BS) or 6 years (MS)
- Doctorate degree with at least 2 years of experience preferred
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in method development of ligand binding assays for assessment of pharmacokinetics and biomarkers
- Demonstrated excellence in the use of Microsoft Office applications
- Effective organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to self-organize, multi-task and operate effectively with no day-to-day oversight
- Knowledge of methods of lab automation
