Job Summary
Lead the design of rigorous experiments addressing core questions in hearing biology to drive drug discovery and preclinical programs. Develop and characterize novel animal models to understand mechanisms of hearing loss and evaluate therapeutics, while executing in vivo and in vitro functional assays for syndromic and non-syndromic conditions. Work cross-functionally to advance translationally relevant studies, analyze data with rigor, and present findings internally and externally. Independently draft and review protocols and articles for publication, and motivate, develop, and supervise junior scientists and research associates.
Required Qualifications
- Ph.D.
- 5+ years of relevant experience
- Proven expertise in drug development
- Strong ability to work both independently and in a team
