Job Summary
Lead the academic program for a small school serving 40 onsite and 40 online students by conducting formative walkthroughs, performing formal teacher evaluations, and implementing staff handbook policies. Drive instructional leadership through staff meetings, monitor student progress data to direct targeted interventions, and maintain a safe campus environment while overseeing discipline and daily operations. Meet with parents regarding academic progress and attendance, support the Director with state reporting requirements, and ensure consistent practice across both programs. Success is measured by schoolwide credits earned rates and completed evaluation cycles for every teacher.
Required Qualifications
- Master's degree in education or a related field
- Valid Arizona Principal certificate
- Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card
- At least 3 years of classroom teaching experience
- At least 2 years of school level leadership experience
- Experience evaluating and coaching teachers
