Job Summary
Principal Salesforce Engineer leading the architecting of Realtor.com’s Salesforce platform across Sales, CPQ, Service, and Marketing Clouds. Design and implement robust, high-availability architectures in a multi-cloud environment; spearhead AI-driven innovations with Agentforce and Einstein GPT; build secure, high-performance integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and Platform Events to sync Salesforce with downstream fulfillment and finance systems. Establish coding and security standards (Apex, LWC, Zero-Trust) and drive DevOps (CI/CD) practices to ensure platform stability and 99.9% availability. Mentor Senior and Lead engineers, drive consensus on complex architectural decisions through RFCs and design reviews, and optimize performance by addressing complex bottlenecks, SQL queries, and async processing. Strong focus on architect-level thinking, data flows, and the application of AI capabilities within an enterprise-scale Salesforce ecosystem to accelerate business outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 12+ years of hands-on Salesforce development experience
- Expert-level proficiency in Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), and advanced Flows
- Hands-on experience implementing Salesforce AI capabilities (Agentforce, Prompt Builder) and Data Cloud harmonization
- Mastery of integration patterns, event-driven architecture, and managing complex multi-org or consolidated environments
- Deep understanding of Salesforce security model (Shield, Event Monitoring) and alignment with GDPR/CCPA
- At least one Architect-level certification (e.g., Application, System, or Integration Architect); Certified Technical Architect (CTA) or AI Specialist highly preferred
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field
- Ability to mentor Senior and Lead engineers; participate in RFCs and design reviews
- Experience with AI tooling integration and ensuring security, performance, and accuracy in AI-generated outputs
