Job Summary
Lead concept development and rapid prototype fabrication and evaluation for new robotic concepts; drive innovation initiatives through system design and development of robots and robotic solutions for next-generation products; research and implement cutting-edge technologies and algorithms across hardware and software, navigation, and system architecture; work within agile cross-functional teams from early concept to productization to ensure a robust technology roadmap; create comprehensive documentation for scaled implementation on NPI programs and collaborate with China-based teams to align on technical direction; communicate effectively across teams and balance trade-offs in ambiguous problem spaces.
Required Qualifications
- M.S or B.S in Robotics Engineering, Electro-Mechanical or equivalent degree
- Experience with sensor selection and implementation, system design, and electromechanical integration
- Experience with developing and testing full stack robotic systems
- Ability to analyze and debug large, complicated systems
- High self-motivation with strong interpersonal skills and ability to work independently across time-zones
- Experience collaborating with China-based teams is highly preferred
- Mandarin language proficiency is a plus
