Job Summary
Serve as a technical resource for the District 2 Corridors Program Office, leading procurement, plan development, and construction support for complex corridor projects. Maintain comprehensive understanding of standards and design processes to provide efficient, high-quality reviews with quick turnaround times. Actively participate in innovation meetings with designers and contractors to drive project scope, technical direction, and scope innovation. Coordinate research and plan reviews while communicating with engineers, senior leadership, and stakeholders on matters of strategic importance. This role requires a Professional Engineer with 15 years of experience to make decisions with significant organizational impact.
Required Qualifications
- Have a degree in engineering from an ABET accredited program
- 15 years relevant experience
- Be a professional engineer in good standing
- Be knowledgeable of applicable federal, state and local codes, criteria, regulations, and ordinances
- Be proficient in production software and construction document production
- Have proven background and ability to make decisions that have significant impact to an organization
- Have the ability to effectively interact with and build strong relationships with clients, customers, contractors, team members, and other key stakeholders
- Have experience leading the work of multiple disciplines
- Have experience participating in and/or having decision-making on technical matters within discipline
- Possess excellent oral and written communication skills
