Job Summary
Principal RF Engineer responsible for millimeter-wave radar RF development for autonomous driving or driving-assistance systems, including antenna design, waveform design, RF hardware design and radar signal processing. Role involves designing and validating RF hardware (antenna, waveguide, radome), providing antenna mass production technical support, designing/validating antenna calibration algorithms, creating design documentation, and collaborating with global RF experts and the China application team. Requires strong knowledge of radar fundamentals, waveform processing, and willingness to work globally with long-term overseas travel. Also involves coordinating with hardware teams on radar IC design, contributing to technical leadership, and participating in process improvements and market research. Proficiency in both Chinese and English communication is required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor or above in Electromagnetic field / Radar engineering / Microwave engineering / Electronic engineering
- At least 6 years’ experience in the RF field or automotive radar development, LOP waveguide antenna mass production experience
- Development experience on imaging radar waveguide antennas based on TI or Infineon chip platforms
- Solid knowledge of analog electronics, digital electronics, RF circuit
- Able to use RF related tools such as HFSS, matlab-simulink, oscilloscope, spectrum analyzer, RF simulation software, RF measurement tools
- Familiar with RF regulation requirements and related tests
- Experience in antenna design and waveguide technology
- Great problem-solving ability and self-learning skills
- Great oral and written communication in Chinese and English
