Job Summary
Principal Red Team Operator responsible for executing advanced adversary emulation and continuous red/purple teaming across on-prem, cloud, SaaS, and AI-enabled enterprise. Lead campaign-based attacks, develop living-off-the-land techniques, simulate identity abuse and privilege escalation, and test AI-enabled workflows. Collaborate with Detection Engineering and Blue Team to translate findings into measurable improvements in detections and response. Maintain robust documentation of attack paths, control weaknesses, and remediation insights, and operate within defined rules of engagement and safety protocols to ensure realistic, controlled testing. Requires 4–8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience in red/purple team operations, a Bachelor's degree or equivalent, and relevant offensive security certifications; salary range $120,000–$210,000 with bonus potential.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Security, Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field, or equivalent experience
- OSCP, OSEP, CRTO, CRTP, or similar advanced offensive security credentials
- 4 to 8 years of hands-on cybersecurity experience with Red Team/Purple Team engagement experience
- Ability to design and execute attack paths across enterprise environments
- Strong knowledge of AI security concepts and AI-enabled systems
- Experience collaborating with Blue Team and Detection Engineering to translate offensive activity into improved detection and response capabilities
