Job Summary
Lead principal radiation effects engineering efforts in Albuquerque, NM, guiding testing requirements, execution, and analysis of radiation effects on electronic/microsystem parts and sub-systems. Collaborate with engineering and science teams to achieve integrated outcomes, leveraging experience in radiation testing, dosimetry, and radiation hardening to advance test programs and reporting.
Required Qualifications
- U.S. citizenship
- Master’s degree or higher in Electrical Engineering, Condensed Matter Physics, Nuclear Engineering, or Bachelor’s with related experience
- 10-15 years’ experience in testing, analysis, and simulations for radiation hardness/qualification of electronics
- Experience in RF board design, grounding/shielding, high-frequency and low-noise measurement techniques
- Experience in measurement/characterization of radiation effects (prompt dose rate, TID, nDD, SEE) in electrical devices
- Familiarity with MIL-HNDBK-814 and MIL-STD-883, radiation qualification/hardening techniques, radiation transport codes
