Job Summary

Conduct Radar Development, Requirements Development, Functional Allocation, Maintenance Modeling Simulation, and Analysis. Integrate and test Radar Hardware and Software, perform Flight Tests, and execute Performance Analysis. Lead multi-disciplinary teams through system architecture, specification development, and proposal creation including TINA compliant Basis of Estimates. Manage Agile workflows using Jira and Confluence while interfacing with engineering disciplines and presenting technical briefings. Requires active DoD Secret clearance and 8+ years of radar/RF systems experience. Onsite role in Fullerton, CA with salary range $118,300 - $224,900.

Required Qualifications

  • Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance
  • U.S. citizenship
  • Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Experience in radar or RF systems
  • Experience as a Systems Engineer including two or more of the following: requirements, design; specification development, modeling, simulation, or performance analysis; HW/ SW integration and test and verification
  • Experience in a technical leadership position

Desired Qualifications

  • Advanced Degree in Engineering, Science, Mathematics, or related STEM degree
  • Experience with radar design, modeling/simulation, hardware/software integration, test and verification
  • Course work or experience in some of the following fields: radar, signal & image processing, radar and/or EO/IR environment models, digital communications, probability and statistics, linear algebra, estimation theory, optimal control, system architecture
  • Experience applying object-oriented software design in C++, C, and using MATLAB or Python for evaluation of data sets
  • Experience working on a team and by yourself, interfacing with multiple engineering disciplines and developing and presenting technical briefings
  • Ability to make data-driven decisions in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with time-critical requirements and competing priorities
  • Strong technical writing, oral presentation, and interpersonal skills
  • Experience using UNIX/Linux based workstations and using Software Configuration Management tools
  • EVMS experience
  • Experience with Agile principles and methodologies
  • Experience with Jira and Confluence
  • SAFe Product Owner certification or related industry certification
  • Experience developing proposals (i.e., developing TINA compliant Basis of Estimates)
