Job Summary

Lead development, production, and sustainment activities for designated Active Electronically Scanned Arrays within the Multi-Product Power & Digital Product Line. Serve as the primary technical point of contact between program engineering, management, and the Array chief engineer to prioritize efforts and report status. Provide recommendations on design improvements, technical risks, and overall maturation of the array while coordinating design updates and troubleshooting production build issues. Resolve complex technical challenges, manage subcontractor quality and lead times, and develop integrated master schedules. Occasional travel required to support customers at various sites. This onsite role supports the Counter-Unmanned Aircraft System multi-mission radar on the MFRFS Product Line.

Required Qualifications

  • U.S. citizen, U.S. person, or immigration status requirements: The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required
  • Active and existing security clearance required after day 1
  • U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
  • Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM)
  • Minimum of 8 years of prior relevant experience
  • Prior experience with RF simulation toolsets (e.g., ADS, HFSS, SystemVue, etc.)
  • Prior experience with RF testing including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers and near field probes
  • Technical leadership experience, including the ability to lead the resolution of tough technical challenges
  • Electrical hardware design and development experience including design standard adherence
  • Experience with production of a new and/or significantly evolved active antenna array assemblies
  • Strong written and verbal communication; must be able to present to various levels of management as well as internal and external customers
  • This position is an onsite role, located in McKinney, TX
  • Occasional travel opportunities may be required to support our customers at various sites

Desired Qualifications

  • One or more advanced degrees in Electrical Engineering or a related Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) major
  • Specific experience with the design, development, and production of complex military electronics subsystems, especially with active electronically scanned arrays (AESAs)
  • Broad-based technical background with the ability to lead complex technical projects
  • Ability to maintain high performance in a highly dynamic, team-based environment
  • Ability to assimilate inputs from multiple sources and derive design and operational requirements
  • Developing associated architectures, implementing design, performing analysis and testing of modules and/or sub-systems in a laboratory setting
  • Digital, analog and/or RF testing; debugging complex circuit card assemblies (CCAs) or electro-mechanical systems
  • Understanding of CCA design and manufacturing
  • Subcontract Management
  • Collaborating with Global Supply Chain and Mission Assurance to identify and resolve supplier quality, lead time, and manufacturability issues
  • Proposal writing including cost estimation
  • Developing and maintaining complex integrated master schedules
