Job Summary
Ensure smooth transition from design to production by verifying design validation and completeness of documentation including drawings, testing protocols, and specifications. Define Module Testing/Validation Specifications in line with AECQ-104, review and approve Supplier Change Requests and Engineering Change Orders in Arena Systems, and conduct PPAP reviews with stakeholders. Update the Manufacturing Quality Manual, conduct process and product audits of contract manufacturers, and manage manufacturing issues related to abnormal factory fallouts and server failures. Interface with Supply Chain, Conditional Access, and IT groups to address production line interruptions, and act as the primary interface for Tier 1 radio manufacturers and OEM car manufacturers during quality issues. Develop and implement CAPA strategies, track progress through measurable metrics, and standardize product release processes to ensure compliance with customer-specific and regulatory standards for upcoming audits.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree Engineering, Quality Management, or a related field
- 10+ years of proven experience in quality systems and communication, preferably in a manufacturing environment
- Must have legal right to work in the U.S.
