Job Summary
Lead FEED and detailed design for live transmission programmes, owning protection schemes, settings, and relay coordination while mentoring junior engineers. Act as the technical authority on P&C design from day one, ensuring compliance with EirGrid and ESB Networks standards. Requires 10+ years of experience, Chartered Engineer status, and proven 400kV transmission design background. Hybrid schedule with two regional office days per week. Full medical cover, parental leave, and CPD reimbursement included.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years' experience
- Chartered Engineer status
- design-led P&C background
- proven transmission design experience at 400kV
- experience on major grid or network programmes
- experience gained on major grid or network programmes rather than in commissioning
- technical authority on P&C design
- right to work in Ireland
