Job Summary
Principal, Valuations (Property) leads the valuation function for property investments, guiding the Valuation team in applying valuation policy, oversight of external valuers, and delivery of valuation-related papers to governance bodies. The role drives process improvements, AI-driven tools, and automation within valuation workflows, manages globally distributed teams, and collaborates with Asset Class teams to ensure independent valuation inputs. The role requires extensive experience in property valuations, strong technical valuation skills, advanced financial modelling, and a track record of leading cross-functional projects with stakeholders and service providers.
Required Qualifications
- 15+ years’ experience in property valuations across multiple sectors
- Strong technical property valuation skills across broad industry segments
- Experience preparing reports, analysis of information and drawing conclusions
- Self-starter comfortable working in a team with project management of multiple tasks
- Experience managing projects with multiple stakeholders and service providers
- Advanced proficiency in financial modelling in valuation context
- Open to Melbourne or Sydney candidates for this permanent role
