Job Summary
Manage RAMS and V&V activities for complex projects, ensuring alignment with budgets, schedules, and quality standards. Oversee RAMS project staffing and documentation issuance while ensuring compliance with system safety and reliability requirements. Monitor workloads, align RAMS schedules with project timelines, and proactively manage risks to prevent issues. Contribute to training, process improvement, and bid preparation while upholding safety standards. Requires a degree, ten years in safety-critical engineering, and expertise in FMEA, HAZOP, and EN50126/61508. Full-time role in Brisbane, Australia.
Required Qualifications
- Engineering Degree or equivalent
- Safety analysis (e.g., FMEA, HAZOP)
- Safety Case development
- Safety Plan creation
- Application of safety standards (e.g., EN50126, EN50128, EN50129, IEC 61508)
- At least ten years of experience in signalling or another safety critical engineering area
- At least ten years of RAMS experience in the use of appropriate safety engineering techniques, such as PHA, FTA, FMEA etc
