Job Summary
Develop Project Master Schedules and detailed execution plans aligned with customer milestones, managing work breakdown structures and day-by-day construction and commissioning activities. Monitor work in progress to ensure compliance with contract requirements and schedule, producing control reports including variation reports on time and budget. Lead scheduling meetings with customers and subcontractors to represent company interests, while driving Change Order Management and delivering EV analysis, risk assessments, and integrated planning standards.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 10 - 15 years of relevant project planning experience
- At least 3-5 yrs exp with large infrastructure construction projects
- preferably rail transit projects
- Strong experience with using Primavera P6
- Strong ability to understand and analyze dependency logic and project critical path
- Excellent communication and influencing skills
- Excellent understanding of project management techniques
- effective planning and scheduling skills
- Highly motivated and adaptable to a time-sensitive environment
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, employees, Project constituents, third parties and general public
- Ability to effectively handle pressures associated with this role
- 4 years degree in Business or Engineering
- Must be able to meet deadlines
Desired Qualifications
- Ontario P.Eng
- Experience with schedule analysis tools (Ex. TILOS, Acumen, FUSE, Other)
- Experience in MS suite including Power BI
- 2 years' experience in Railway Systems/ Signaling projects
