Principal Project Manager

Principal Project Manager at AVEVA Australia Software Services Delivery and PMO leads the successful execution of large-scale software service delivery projects ensuring on-time, within-scope, and within-budget delivery while maintaining client satisfaction. Responsible for managing day-to-day operational and tactical aspects of multiple or large-scale software delivery projects, coordinating cross-functional technical teams (including client acceptance testing), reviewing high-level deliverables, managing scope and changes, implementing PMO-aligned methodologies and QA procedures, monitoring risks and escalations, maintaining client relationships, leading project milestones (kick-offs, UAT at customer site when required), overseeing financials (revenue recognition, invoicing, receivables, procurement), forecasting costs and utilization, identifying add-on sales opportunities, supporting proposals and client training, capturing lessons learned, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. Essential requirements include a bachelor’s degree, 5+ years of PM experience in software/IT services, multi-country/multi-site delivery experience, familiarity with IT integration, MES, KPI dashboards, and SCADA systems, and strong English communication and leadership skills; professional PMP/PRINCE2/Agile/Scrum certifications are highly desirable.
