Job Summary
Lead design teams through detailed design, consenting, procurement, and construction phases while acting as the primary client contact to build trusted relationships. Oversee construction activities in complex, live operational environments by coordinating technical specialists and managing the building consent process. Drive project governance, commercial performance, risk management, and reporting in line with AECOM's delivery systems. Develop innovative delivery strategies, pursue new work opportunities, and mentor emerging project managers to strengthen the team. Champion safety, quality, and technical excellence across all project stages.
Required Qualifications
- A relevant tertiary qualification in engineering, architecture, construction management, project management or related discipline
- 10+ years' experience delivering complex building or infrastructure projects within a consultancy environment
- Demonstrated success leading multidisciplinary design teams through design, consenting, procurement and construction
- Exceptional client relationship skills, with experience acting as a trusted advisor on major projects
- Proven ability to manage programme, commercial performance, project risk and quality outcomes
- Excellent communication, leadership and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to bring people together to deliver exceptional results
- All newly hired employees are required to attend an in-person Day 1 onboarding at an AECOM office location as a condition of employment
Desired Qualifications
- Experience of exposure to airport environments would be advantageous
