Job Summary
Project Manager leads high-priority, executive-sponsored strategic initiatives to drive operational excellence. Applies PMI-based project management methodologies to manage large, cross-functional programs from initiation to closeout, ensuring on-time delivery within scope and budget. Develops and maintains project charters, objectives, scope, resources, milestones, benefits, KPIs, and financials; creates and maintains schedules with critical-path focus; manages risks and issues; leads cross-functional teams to deliver results with high quality; assigns tasks based on team strengths; tracks performance and resolves issues throughout the lifecycle; drives change management; develops and executes communication plans (Kick-off, Team Meetings, Steering Committee meetings) and provides regular status updates to executive management; and performs other related duties as required.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in business or appropriate field
- 3+ years of project management experience
- Experience partnering with executives on project planning and execution
- Experience working with Agile IT Development Teams
- Excellent interpersonal effectiveness and communication skills (written and oral)
- Ability to work autonomously with minimal guidance
- Bias for action and comfort with ambiguity
- Strong attention to detail and follow-up
- Experience building and maintaining relationships with internal partners
- Smartsheet experience preferred
- PMI-based project management processes and methodologies
