Job Summary
Manage program life cycle activities including project setup, maintenance, invoicing, accruals, and monthly financial projections to support the month-end close. Collaborate with program managers and functional departments to develop business plans, forecasts, and AOPs while maintaining Estimates at Completion and project risk registers. Oversee information management systems, analyze design changes and schedule slippages, and validate financial data for revenue, profit, and cash backlog reporting. Develop control processes for budgets and schedules, review scope changes, and troubleshoot documentation issues across divisions. Handle subcontractor and client invoice cycles to ensure accurate financial tracking for large complex construction programs.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, Finance, Engineering or Construction Management (or related field)
- 5+ years of related work experience, or equivalent work experience required
- Hybrid work schedule, must be able to work on project site (Kingsport Tennessee) 2-3 days/week
- Experience using Excel, Forecasting Tools and Costpoint
- Experience with fixed price vertical construction projects
- Experience working on federal contracts
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (e.g., Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Primavera and Scheduling software
- General understanding of GAAP principles
