Job Summary
Technical leadership for IT development personnel; responsible for the technical design and implementation of mid-range software development of assigned web services and/or applications. Drives high-level strategic initiatives, defines strategy with product management and analysts, leads cross-functional teams from design through delivery, applies software engineering best practices to web applications and services, provides technical guidance to teams developing custom and off-the-shelf web apps/services, collaborates with architects to establish standards, ensures adherence to platform decisions, manages development process standards, and provides 24x7 production support. Key technical differentiators include familiarity with SQL/non-SQL data frameworks, cloud frameworks, CDN design, web services, rules engines, and software optimization; demonstrated expertise in Spring ecosystem, Angular, CI/CD, APIs, and AI/automation workflows.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Technology, Information Systems (CIS/MIS), Engineering or related technical discipline, or equivalent experience/training
- 8 years Java Development Environment (JDE) experience
- 2 years Application Programming Interface (ADI) framework / REST development
- 2 years in web services (mid-range) development
