Job Summary
Principal Program Planning Analyst/Scheduler based in Rolling Meadows, IL with hybrid work option. Responsibilities include applying product development planning to establish and control the program schedule baseline, coordinating with multi-functional teams to update status for management decisions on complex development and production programs, developing an integrated program measurement baseline to manage cost, schedule, and technical performance, and performing schedule risk analyses. The role requires using scheduling software (Microsoft Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or similar), identifying variances, coordinating with engineering and operations leads, and developing actions and risk mitigation strategies to address performance issues. Preference for experience with EVMS guidelines, Schedule Analytics, and active Secret level clearance; Bachelor’s degree or higher in related fields; travel up to 10%; citizenship requirement for government-related positions.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree
- 5 years professional related experience OR Master’s degree with 3 years experience OR 9 years applied experience in lieu of degree
- 2 years of project scheduling experience using MS Project, Oracle P6, Deltek Open Plan or other related scheduling tool
- Experience with MS Office Suite (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
- Willingness to travel domestically 10% of the time
