Principal Program Manager

Job Summary
Lead complex customer programs from development through commercialization; act as the primary interface between customers and Lonza across the program lifecycle; drive cross-functional teams to deliver quality, timeline, and financial objectives; manage program financials including forecasting, invoicing, and revenue recognition; ensure compliance with PPM CoE standards and maintain accurate Planview data; proactively identify risks, resolve issues, and escalate when required; contribute to strategic initiatives, including KPI tracking and continuous improvement.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in life sciences or related field; advanced degree preferred
- Extensive experience managing complex programs in biotech, pharma, or CDMO environments
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to influence without direct authority
- Proven experience managing customer relationships and program financials
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
- PMP or equivalent project management certification preferred
- Strong problem-solving mindset with risk/complexity management
- Experience in New Product Introduction, including transitioning products from clinical development through commercialization
