Principal Production Planner

Job Summary
Manage production schedules using SAP APO to ensure on-time delivery to distribution centers, executing discrete plans that support forecasts, manage outstanding demand, and handle rework orders. Liaise with internal customers to align priorities and recovery plans while actively managing the finished goods inventory pipeline at the plant level in line with KPIs. Support new product development and introductions to facilitate successful transition to volume manufacturing, and review and approve ECRs from a supply chain perspective. Drive initiatives to optimize planning processes and systems for enhanced supply delivery and efficient material coordination.
Required Qualifications
- BA/BS in Supply Chain related field
- Minimum 4 years related experience in production planning and inventory management in a manufacturing environment
- Advanced proficiency with SAP APO
- Advanced proficiency with Microsoft applications
- Excellent organizational skills
