Principal Production Planner and Scheduler

Job Summary

Plan modification events and develop work packages for F-35 Modification Upgrade and Overhaul tasks by analyzing Initial Retrofit Plans and establishing milestones. Collaborate with project managers, authors, and supply personnel to coordinate critical scheduling information and conduct project reviews. Develop briefings on modification status, compile recurring AV MUO Operation reports, and provide reach-back technical support to field maintainers during verification events. Work within the Lockheed Martin MUO team to achieve program objectives through accurate planning and execution of retrofit tasks.

Required Qualifications

  • US Citizenship
  • Current Government Secret Clearance
  • Ability to obtain Special Access Program clearance
  • Level 2: 2 years of experience in Depot Planner and Scheduler or Contract Field Team
  • Level 2: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable technical or business degree
  • Level 2: Master's degree with 1 year of applied experience
  • Level 3: 5 years of experience in Depot Planner and Scheduler or Contract Field Team
  • Level 3: Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Operations Management, Aviation Management, Systems Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or comparable technical or business degree
  • Level 3: Master's degree with 2 years of applied experience
  • Aircraft aviation maintenance on military or commercial aircraft
  • Military Aviation Plans and Scheduling (P&S)
  • Willingness to work a flexible work schedule
  • Good self-start initiative
  • Willingness to work overtime
  • Willingness to travel occasionally
  • Must be able to lift 50 lbs

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience with Project/Program Management principles and methods
  • Depot level maintenance scheduling experience
  • Aircraft debrief, maintenance control, or Maintenance Operation Center (MOC) experience
  • Experience managing multiple projects using long range planning techniques
  • Event planning and scheduling experience
  • Demonstrated proficiency working with Microsoft Office products (e.g. Access, Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook), Microsoft Project, and Tableau
  • Experience working under supervision and taking ownership for assigned tasks/projects
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop strong working relationships with peers, stakeholders, and customers in order to advance supportability for assigned projects
  • Superb analytical and presentation skills
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and writing
