Job Summary

Manage day-to-day interfaces and communications between the Program Management Office, Manufacturing, Test, MRP, Mission Assurance, Supply Chain, Engineering, and Shipping. Achieve targeted cost and schedule requirements by facilitating internal meetings that support design, production, and problem resolutions. Report Earned Value Management System (EVMS) metrics and serve as the Cost Account Management (CAM) for manufacturing projects. Lead or participate on product teams to handle requirements analysis, engineering, and manufacturing tracking while representing manufacturing at Risk Review Board meetings. Support proposal documentation generation and manage product-level risks from the program risk register. This role requires a Secret Security Clearance and is based in Elkridge, MD.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline
  • Master's degree with 3 years of work experience in Project Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline
  • 9 years of experience in Project/Program Management, Manufacturing Engineering, or other related discipline
  • Experience with cost, schedule, project leadership, and/or process improvement
  • Experience acting as a liaison between multiple disciplines to solve complex problems with limited resources in a timely manner
  • The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Secret Security Clearance
  • U.S. Citizenship

Desired Qualifications

  • Degree in Manufacturing Engineering and/or a Project Management field
  • Experience with Earned Value Management Systems (EVMS), Basis of Estimate preparation, and/or Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) development
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) certification
  • Manufacturing experience of defense related electronics
  • Technical project management through different parts of the program/project life cycle
  • Experience working diverse contract types (CPFF, CPIF, FFP)
  • Root Cause Corrective Action (RCCA) Investigation type activities
  • Experience with data mining/manipulation & presentation
  • Expertise in executive leadership (Director or VP level) communication and engagement
