Job Summary
Own the roadmap, health, and competitiveness of current data and reliability surfaces including Log Search, Metrics Search, Tracing, Dashboards, Monitors, and Alerts. Define how these experiences evolve from human-navigated tools into AI-assisted workflows that reason across telemetry to surface actionable findings. Productize investigation processes that move teams from reactive troubleshooting to proactive detection while ensuring alert accuracy and noise reduction. Translate strategy into PRDs, proposals, and rollout plans, using telemetry to identify friction in customer search and alerting. Shape skills and agent tools built on data surfaces while enforcing enterprise governance, RBAC, and cost limits. Set multi-quarter vision for investigation and reliability experiences, driving execution across engineering and architecture at enterprise scale.
Required Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience
- real observability or monitoring domain background
- Deep, first-hand understanding of the observability surface area including logs, metrics, traces, dashboards, monitors, alerts, and SLOs
- Proven ability to run a live, at-scale product, owning the roadmap, health, and competitiveness of shipping surfaces while driving a larger transformation
- A track record of owning broad, technically deep surfaces and setting direction that other teams build on
- Familiarity with how AI and agents are changing data interaction, including natural-language investigation, tools, guardrails, and human-in-the-loop action
- Strong technical instincts around query engines, time-series and trace data, and alerting systems
- Strong analytical skills and comfort using telemetry, dashboards, SQL, and usage data to understand adoption, friction, reliability, and cost
- Excellent communication across technical and business audiences
- ability to write clear proposals, decision docs, PRDs, and acceptance criteria
