Job Summary
Principal Product Manager for Smart Cable Modules will own and drive the product portfolio, translating customer requirements into differentiated solutions, defining detailed requirements, and guiding development from concept to launch. The role interfaces with lighthouse customers, engineering, and go-to-market teams to secure design wins and ensure competitive differentiation through PCIe, Ethernet, and system architectures. Candidates should have deep semiconductor product experience, strong cross-functional leadership, and the ability to translate customer pain points into compelling products. The position requires in-person work in San Jose with regular travel to customers. Preferred qualifications include a Master’s degree and experience with hyperscalers or large cloud providers; Mandarin language experience is a plus.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science, or related technical field
- 8+ years of experience in product management, applications engineering, or technical product roles within the semiconductor industry
- Deep understanding of high-speed protocols (PCIe, Ethernet, CXL) and system architectures used in cloud and AI infrastructure
- Proven track record of defining and launching successful semiconductor products
- Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to both technical and business audiences
- Willingness to travel for customer meetings, industry events, and trade shows
