Principal Product Manager, AI Enablement
On-siteSingapore, Singapore
Job Summary
Drive AI-native adoption across Grab by embedding with internal teams as their AI product partner, ensuring new ventures launch AI-native from day one and mature businesses re-platform their highest-value use cases. Connect platform innovation to commercial opportunity by identifying which primitives unlock business cases, brokering partnerships to build them, and securing leadership alignment and funding. Build with stream-aligned teams to create first solutions on new primitives before handing them off to platform teams for scaling. Shape the AI Center of Excellence agenda by pitching and delivering high-value opportunities. Act as Research PM for frontier AI, partnering with researchers to shape direction against commercial demand and package outputs into reusable primitives. Codify a repeatable AI-native playbook to turn bespoke enablement into scalable patterns. This Principal-level role requires 8+ years of product experience and reports to the Head of Product, Data & AI Platforms.
Required Qualifications
- Commercial translation: A track record of connecting platform or AI capability to commercial opportunities – turning technical primitives into business cases, user outcomes, revenue, or new product lines.
- Senior stakeholder influence and partnerships: Demonstrated ability to influence Director- and VP-level stakeholders, broker cross-team partnerships, and align senior leaders behind a shared bet without owning the teams that execute it.
- Storytelling: The ability to make a complex technology legible to a non-technical audience and build the narrative that wins leadership alignment and funding for new business cases.
- Technical depth in AI: Enough fluency in modern AI to be a credible partner to AI researchers and to shape research direction, not just consume its outputs.
- Forward-deployed operating model: Comfortable being hands on with customer teams, operating in undefined territory where the right way does not exist yet, and moving with urgency to ship high-impact work.
- Product management experience: At least 8 years as a PM or founder, with depth in AI/ML, data, or developer and platform products, and evidence of operating at a Principal or staff level of scope and autonomy.
