Principal Product Manager, Affordability - Quick Commerce

Job Summary
Principal Product Manager to lead the Affordability Domain within the Quick Commerce Growth Product Line. Own the product vision and roadmap for item-level promotions and affordability initiatives that scale across QC tools and integrate with non-QC services. Collaborate with data science, engineering, design, and global/ regional commercial teams to align strategies, translate insights into a tangible roadmap, and drive growth metrics such as conversion rate, average order value, and customer retention. Responsible for lifecycle management of affordability solutions from ideation to experimentation and performance monitoring, with a focus on delivering smart, sustainable deals and improved affordability perception. Strong emphasis on cross-squad/cross-domain alignment, data-driven decision making, and the ability to articulate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Nice-to-have experience includes large-scale pricing/promotions programs, ML model lifecycle familiarity, and merchandising or retail analytics. The role supports a hybrid working model with opportunities for face-to-face collaboration at our Berlin campus, relocation assistance, and a range of employee development and wellbeing programs.
Required Qualifications
- 7+ years of product management experience in complex product or platform environments
- Experience with building pricing, promotion or incentive solutions is a strong plus
- Technical fluency with APIs and system behavior; comfortable discussing trade-offs in model implementations
- Analytical excellence with data-driven decision making
- Ability to influence and communicate across cross-functional teams
- Customer-centric thinking and ownership mindset
- Experience with ML concepts, data modeling, and experimentation frameworks
- Bachelor’s or higher in a relevant field are not required to be explicit here (education level not specified)
