Job Summary
Define and drive design strategy across multiple product areas, connecting feature-level experiences to platform vision, customer outcomes, and business objectives. Establish organizational standards for interaction design, systems thinking, design quality, and design-system governance to enable consistency and scalability. Lead complex, high-impact design initiatives from discovery through execution, align stakeholders, shape solutions, and measure outcomes. Partner with Product, Engineering, and executive leadership to influence roadmaps, investment priorities, and architectural decisions through customer-centered design thinking and business insight. Champion a culture of design excellence by mentoring through influence, facilitating critique, and modeling best practices. Define how AI tools and agent-based workflows are incorporated into design processes, establishing standards for AI-assisted work and responsible innovation. Communicate design vision and business value to senior leaders, building alignment around strategic opportunities and measurable outcomes.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of product design experience
- enterprise software or B2B SaaS design experience
- portfolio showing strategic impact and systems thinking
- experience establishing design vision and influencing cross-functional stakeholders
- expertise in designing complex enterprise experiences (workflow-heavy, data-rich interfaces, role-based systems)
- deep knowledge of design systems, tokens, governance, and scalable frameworks
- strong communication, storytelling, and executive presentation skills
- mentorship and leadership through influence
- experience with AI-enabled design practices and AI tool integration
