Job Summary
Lead Product Design for Life360's Devices portfolio (Tile, Pet GPS, and other hardware). Drive end-to-end design across physical and digital touchpoints, prototype AI-native interactions, map end-to-end user journeys from unboxing to daily use, and create scalable design patterns across devices. Collaborate with Product, Engineering, Brand, Research, Hardware, and Industrial Design; present to IC/C-level and influence the devices roadmap. Mentor designers and champion a culture of innovation in hardware-software product development.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years designing for mobile-first, consumer-facing products
- Experience across hardware and software interfaces
- Strong UI/UX craft with data-informed solutions
- Experience with AI-enhanced experiences in ambient/location-aware contexts
- Rapid prototyping and iteration with a track record of shipping
- Experience with partner programs, hardware betas, or device pilots is a plus
- Excellent communication and storytelling; able to influence across levels
- Systems thinking and scalable design frameworks across form factors and product lines
