Job Summary
Principal Procurement Specialist (12 months contract) leads and supports day-to-day procurement operations, transforming purchase requests into purchase orders with accuracy and compliance. You will maintain SAP procurement data and system tables, guide internal stakeholders on procurement procedures and DOA requirements, and help standardize processes by creating SOPs, templates, and user guides. The role requires attention to detail, ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment, and hands-on PR-to-PO processing experience. Key activities include processing PRs into POs, ensuring compliance with policies, maintaining procurement documentation, advising stakeholders on procedures, managing SAP master data, and contributing to governance and continuous improvement efforts across procurement operations in Singapore.
Required Qualifications
- Diploma in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in procurement operations
- Hands-on experience in PR-to-PO processing
- Strong proficiency in SAP S/4HANA is preferred
- Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, Outlook)
- Strong understanding of procurement governance
- Excellent communication skills
- Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
