Job Summary
Lead strategic sourcing for Indirect Procurement within Coupang's Global procurement organization, partnering with cross-functional stakeholders to drive supplier management, category strategy, and cost optimization. Develop and manage RFX packages (RFI/RFP/RFQ), conduct TCO analyses, pricing modeling, benchmarking, and supplier evaluations, while aligning with enterprise goals. Drive long-term purchasing strategies focusing on cost, quality, delivery, and support, and lead commercial negotiations with suppliers to secure optimal solutions. Collaborate with internal teams (finance, legal, operations) to ensure effective execution, supply base consolidation, and continuous improvement, while embodying Coupang leadership principles to motivate teams toward business objectives.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or higher
- 10+ years of procurement experience
- Ability to identify key stakeholders quickly and build strong cross-functional relationships
- Strategic sourcing planning and execution reflecting internal business needs and external market/supplier environments
- Contract negotiations and closures based on SLA requirements
- Ability to manage multiple sourcing projects simultaneously and track/report cost savings
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and interpersonal/communication and negotiation skills
