Job Summary
Manage and lead process technology activities by developing technical excellence across engineering, production, maintenance, and the technology centre to ensure safety, integrity, and reliability. Lead process engineering and plant optimization efforts while supporting expansions, modifications, commissioning, and start-up activities. Review and approve designs, calculations, and technical deliverables, and identify complex operational challenges. Drive Advanced Process Control initiatives, conduct HAZOP and SIL assessments, and participate in failure investigations. Act as the subject matter expert for cross-functional teams, manage interfaces with contractors and vendors, and mentor junior engineers. Ensure compliance with company standards and HSE requirements while promoting innovation and digitalization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Process Engineering, Physics, or a related discipline.
- Minimum 10 years of experience in the Oil & Gas, Chemical, Energy, or related industries.
- Minimum 5 years of technical engineering experience in a processing or industrial environment.
- Strong experience in process engineering, plant operations support, process safety, and technical troubleshooting.
- Experience supporting major industrial projects, commissioning, and plant modifications.
Desired Qualifications
- Knowledge of Advanced Process Control (APC), HAZOP, SIL studies, and process optimization methodologies is highly desirable.
