Job Summary
Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for HPE Networking, based in Florida with remote/teleworker arrangement. Lead pre-sales technical and functional support for Global Major Accounts, delivering compelling network solutions, conducting technical presentations, building proofs of concept, and collaborating with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities and drive engagements. Requires deep networking expertise (routing, switching, wireless design, NAC, Clearpass/ISE), proven ability to tailor solutions to customer needs, and strong communication skills for executive-level interaction. This role emphasizes solution selling, development of detailed specifications and implementation designs, and maintaining an active sales pipeline to achieve regional goals.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of infrastructure engineering and successful pre-sales experience preferred
- Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge
- Routing and switching technologies
- Wireless Design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- CWNA, CWDP, CWSP knowledge level preferred
- Pre- and post- wireless site survey knowledge - Ekahau or Hamina
- Ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues
- CWNA/CWDP/CWSP certifications beneficial
- Ability to interface with senior levels of internal/external organizations
