Job Summary
Principal PreSales Systems Engineer for HPE Networking (Florida) focused on pre-sales technical and functional support to prospective clients and Global Major Accounts. Role requires presenting and articulating the capabilities and value of HPE Networking solutions, leading solution selling, developing tailored designs, and delivering technical demonstrations and POCs. The position collaborates with Territory Managers to qualify opportunities, manage a pipeline, and drive opportunities to closure, leveraging extensive networking expertise (routing, switching, wireless, security, NAC, and site surveys) to craft detailed specifications and compelling customer proposals. This is a US teleworking role based in Florida, with emphasis on delivering hardware/software/services solutions and ensuring customer satisfaction across assigned territories. Desired skills include deep knowledge of Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist, CWNA/CWDP/CWSP, and strong communication and stakeholder management capabilities.
Required Qualifications
- 10+ years of infrastructure engineering and experience with successful pre-sales support
- Oral and written communication, organizational, presentation, prioritization, and interpersonal skills
- Must be customer focused and have the ability to design and manage solutions to complex technical issues
- Ability to interface with senior levels of internal / external organizations
- Extensive Aruba Networking or Juniper Mist Networking knowledge
- Routing and switching technologies
- Networking Security
- NAC experience - Clearpass, ISE, Cloud NAC, Juniper Access Assurance
- Wireless Design, deployment, and troubleshooting
- Pre and post wireless site survey knowledge - Ekahau or Hamina
- CWNA, CWDP, CWSP knowledge level preferred
