Job Summary
Lead and shape immigration policy analysis and provide high-quality, evidence-based advice on complex immigration issues; mentor and develop team members; collaborate with Ministers, senior public servants, and a broad range of stakeholders across government, industry, and communities; manage policy projects within MBIE’s International and Humanitarian Policy team, contributing to labour market and economic policy objectives and inter-agency coordination.
Required Qualifications
- Experience leading high-profile policy projects
- Proven ability to communicate complex issues clearly to Ministers and senior officials
- Collaborative working style with internal and external stakeholders
- Ability to think analytically and strategically with principled pragmatism
- Strong focus on delivery and managing competing priorities
- Experience with labour market and economic policy is valuable
