Principal Platform Engineer — Kubernetes & Cloud Infrastructure
Hybrid · Denver, Colorado, United States
Job Summary
Principal Platform Engineer to own and architect Ombud's cloud infrastructure for multi-tenant, production AI workloads. You will lead production Kubernetes (EKS) operations, end-to-end AWS infrastructure (RDS, DMS, Kafka/MSK, ECR, networking, IAM, multi-region deployments), and Terraform modules with drift management. You will shape the self-service infrastructure roadmap, ensure security posture (SOC 2 / ISO 27001), and document runbooks to enable the broader engineering team. Must-haves include senior IC capabilities, architectural leadership, and in-office presence in Denver Tue–Thu. Nice-to-haves cover AI/ML workload experience, vector stores, PostgreSQL ops, and multi-tenant SaaS scaling experience.
