Principal Paralegal

Job Summary
Manage incoming legal and contract requests, triage assignments to attorneys, and track deliverables against established SLAs. Serve as the primary system administrator for the Enterprise contract and compliance management software, ensuring 100% database accuracy. Maintain records of active clinical affiliations and vendor contracts, generating proactive renewal alerts for leadership. Audit outside legal counsel invoices against engagement letters and fee schedules prior to SVP approval. Maintain official legal repositories, execute document retention schedules, and compile investigative binders for internal audits. This role ensures attorneys and compliance leaders have structured, audited systems to execute their duties seamlessly.
Required Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies or a related field, or an ABA-approved Paralegal Certificate (or equivalent career experience)
- 5–7+ years of dedicated paralegal or legal operations experience, preferably in healthcare, corporate, or non-profit settings
- Demonstrated mastery of contract lifecycle management systems and workflows
- Exceptional organizational, tracking, and detail-oriented skills
- Strong drafting abilities for routine legal documents and correspondence
- Outstanding communication, collaboration and leadership skills; the ability to inspire and inform
- Is an outstanding ambassador for the Enterprise in the community and demonstrates organizational pride
- Unwavering ethical standards, commitment to whole-person care and community health
- The highest personal integrity with a demonstrable commitment to the mission of the organizations
- Exceptional attention to detail, organizational skills, and analytical thinking
- Expert knowledge of legal technology (specifically Compliatric or similar contract life-cycle systems), process optimization, tracking metrics, and administrative organization
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, results-driven environment
- Exceptional discretion with sensitive investigations, high accountability, team-oriented mindset, and alignment with the EOS® model
Desired Qualifications
- Buy in and experience working in the EOS® model (strongly preferred)
