Principal Oracle Database Engineer

Job Summary
Lead a distributed DBA engineering team while serving as the operational leader for Database Engineering, managing production escalations, major incidents, and resolution coordination. Architect, design, and implement Oracle databases on AWS RDS to ensure data integrity, security, and near-continuous availability for critical financial applications, including migrations from on-premises platforms. Monitor, analyze, and optimize database performance using AWR/ASH, RDS Performance Insights, CloudWatch, and OEM to meet Tier-0/Tier-1 SLAs. Develop, review, and optimize database code including PL/SQL packages, procedures, and complex SQL, while implementing security controls and disaster recovery solutions. Participate in production support and on-call rotations to maintain enterprise SLAs.
Required Qualifications
- Minimum of 12+ years of related experience
