Principal Oracle Application Analyst

Job Summary
Lead the definition, design, and implementation of technology solutions by translating complex business requirements into scalable Oracle Finance modules. Act as the Single Point of Contact for Oracle Finance Products, gathering stakeholder requirements, documenting use cases, and validating feasibility while ensuring global consistency across regulatory and compliance standards. Collaborate with cross-functional teams including developers, QA, and DevOps to drive end-to-end project delivery using Agile methodologies, presenting recommendations to non-technical audiences and mentoring technical staff on system design and performance improvements. Maintain system integrity through SQL analysis and process optimization within a multinational environment.
Required Qualifications
- 6+ years of experience in IT / Technology roles, including enterprise applications or business analysis
- Proven experience leading end-to-end delivery of complex, global projects
- Excellent knowledge in the Oracle Finance modules (AP, AR, GL, etc.)
- Proficiency in Oracle Applications R12 and preferably Oracle Fusion & Oracle SaaS
- Strong functional understanding of the systems supported and the development framework for customizations
- Ability to write and execute SQL queries and understand PL/SQL APIs
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to understand complex systems, data structures, and business processes
- Solid understanding of software development lifecycle and methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, Waterfall, etc.)
- Technical understanding of application development (e.g. Java, .NET, JavaScript frameworks, databases, SQL, HTML/XML)
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work independently in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in mentoring or leading others
- Strong organizational and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work effectively in an international, multicultural environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, IT, or a related field
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in Europe financial localizations / US GAAP / Vertex TAX Engine / is appreciated
- Experience with SAFT, EInvoicing, Ebook, VAT Reporting and Digital Financial Reporting
- Previous exposure to large-scale, multinational system implementations is an advantage
