Job Summary

Senior FCAS Engineer role focused on design, analysis, and integration of Flight Control Actuation Systems for aerospace programs. Responsibilities include integrating avionics hardware, defining interfaces, managing ICDs, supporting proposals and trade studies, coordinating with suppliers, developing technical materials for program briefings, conducting verification/validation, and applying systems engineering practices. Requires experience with avionics development or electronics, subsystem integration, MATLAB data processing/visualization, requirements management, and an ability to obtain/maintain a Secret clearance (US citizenship). Travel about 25% is anticipated. Location: El Segundo, CA.

Required Qualifications

  • Bachelors Degree in a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Math (STEM) with 5+ years of relevant experience; OR a Master’s Degree with 3+ years; OR a PhD with 1+ year; “Demonstrated experience with avionics development or background in electronics engineering”; “Experience with subsystem integration and ICDs”; “Experience with requirements management and verification”; “Experience developing, testing, and integrating Flight Control Actuation Systems”; “MATLAB experience”; “Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Secret clearance and SAP”; “US Citizenship required for government clearance”
