Job Summary

Develop products and CONOPs for the 24x7 operation of a mission-critical system, troubleshooting real-world operational issues and trending data. Simulate products prior to transition, returning systems to an operational state while ensuring health, safety, and maximizing mission availability. Review or develop standard operating procedures for standard events and anomaly recoveries, and create scripts to automate complex system operations. Complete a 20-week training course to become a certified Senior System Controller, followed by 12-hour crew shifts on a rotating 4-on/4-off schedule. This role supports Northrop Grumman's Space Sector in Aurora, CO, requiring a Top Secret clearance and polygraph.

Required Qualifications

  • Approved STEM Bachelor's degree with 5 years of professional experience
  • Approved STEM Master's degree with 3 years of professional experience
  • Approved STEM PhD with 1 year of professional experience
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Top Secret security clearance
  • SCI access
  • Complete a Counterintelligence Polygraph examination
  • Ability and willingness to work rotating 12-hour shifts which will be scheduled 5:30am to 5:30pm and 5:30pm to 5:30am 4 days on, 4 days off including weekends and holidays rotating days and nights
  • Proven leadership experience on a project and/or team
  • U.S. Citizenship
