Job Summary
Oversee manufacturing programs by managing proposals, production planning, and execution while monitoring cost, schedule, performance, and quality issues. Facilitate self-directed teams, provide training, and interact with internal and external customers on product planning, problem resolution, and process improvement. Represent the Operations Manufacturing organization as a prime contact on contracts, coordinate with the Program Office, Engineering, and Supply Chain, and oversee proposal generation including basis of estimates and labor rates. Perform monthly reconciliation of Sales Order WBS to MRP WBS and develop production metrics using Microsoft Excel Macro functions. Ensure team compliance with company objectives and obligations.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in Project Management, Supply Chain, Business Management, etc.
- OR a Masters degree with 3 or more years of relevant work experience in Project Management, Supply Chain, Business Management, etc.
- Experience leading teams or projects
- Material Requirements Planning (MRP) experience
- Experience with Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, and Word)
- The ability to obtain a Secret Security Clearance
- US Citizenship
Desired Qualifications
- Experience in a fast-paced manufacturing and development environment
- 4 or more years of manufacturing programs management experience
- Experience with Manufacturing Resource Planning (MRP), production planning, and material management
- Earned Value reporting and analysis experience
- Experience with all aspects of proposal generation
