Job Summary
Lead strategic oversight of Occupational Therapy across Adult Social Care and Children’s Services, providing expert professional leadership to OTs, social care practitioners and partner agencies; drive service transformation, promote high-quality, strengths-based, person-centred OT practice, oversee the Workforce Development Team and champion robust training and development to support a city-wide impact in Bristol; responsible for strategic delivery, professional standards, budgets and resource management within a high-exposure leadership role.
Required Qualifications
- A recognised OT qualification (DipCOT, BSc or equivalent)
- Current HCPC registration
- Significant experience in social care OT, including supervisory or management responsibilities
- Strong project management capability
- Ability to manage budgets, resources and competing priorities effectively
- Passion for driving high-quality, strengths-based practice
