Job Summary
Lead delivery of nuclear waste consultancy projects across international and UK-based sites, manage proposals and client relationships, and mentor team members. Responsibilities include conducting waste-management studies (e.g., strategy development, integrated waste strategies, radioactive waste inventory), waste-led decommissioning strategy development, environmental studies including BAT assessments, regulatory engagement, and option-eering with clients. You will oversee technical work across projects, manage tasks including quality and financial oversight, build internal networks, prepare costed proposals and business-development materials, and foster long-term client relationships while collaborating with engineers and advisors to achieve technical excellence and timely delivery.
Required Qualifications
- Experience in radioactive waste management
- Consulting and project management experience
- UK nuclear licensed sites knowledge
- Operating waste management facilities or studies exploring use of such facilities
- Regulator engagement
- Waste management studies and strategy development
- Environmental studies and BAT assessments
- Decommissioning planning or studies
